1. GENERAL INFORMATION

1.1 Purpose and Scope

This information text has been prepared in order to ensure the safety of visitors to the facilities of Güneri Makina San. ve Tic. A.Ş., to fulfill the requirements of the Occupational Health and Safety Law No. 6331 and the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698, and to minimize the legal liabilities of our company.

This instruction applies to all visitors, customers, suppliers, audit officers, maintenance-repair personnel, and other third parties coming to our facility.

1.3 Legal Grounds

2. REQUIREMENTS BEFORE VISITATION

2.1 Appointment and Approval

It is mandatory to schedule an appointment in advance for all visits to our facility. During the appointment request, the purpose, duration, and number of participants must be specified, the approval of the relevant department manager must be obtained, and the security department must be informed.

2.2 Preliminary Information

Prior to the visit, visitors are informed about occupational safety rules and risks, personal protective equipment requirements, restricted areas and limitations, emergency procedures, and photo/video recording rules.

 


3. PROCEDURES DURING VISITATION

3.1 Entry Checks

3.1.1 ID Check

All visitors must present an official identification document. Identity information is recorded in the security registration system, a visitor card is issued, and it must be worn in a visible place. For group visits, the list is checked.

3.1.2 Safety Check

A metal detector screening is conducted; if prohibited items are found, they are handed over to the security officer, and electronic devices are recorded.

3.1.3 Health Check

Visitors’ health status is queried. Chronic illnesses, medication use, and disabilities must be declared. If necessary, health personnel are informed, and special health requirements are noted.

3.2 Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

3.2.2 Additional PPE Requirements

Additional PPE may be required depending on the area to be visited:

-          Ear Protection: In noisy areas (>85 dB)

-          Gloves: In areas with chemicals

-          Respiratory Mask: In areas with dust/vapor exposure

-          Safety Harness: In high-altitude work areas

3.3 Supervisor System

An authorized supervisor is assigned to each visitor group. The supervisor must be personnel trained in occupational health and safety. The visit route is planned in advance, and emergency procedures are communicated to the supervisor.

Supervisor Responsibilities:

-       Ensure visitors comply with safety rules

-       Identify hazardous situations in advance

-       Respond in emergencies

 


4. SAFETY RULES AND PROHIBITIONS

4.1 General Safety Rules

4.1.1 Movement and Behavior Rules

Visitors must only move along designated routes. Running, shouting, and rough joking are prohibited. Do not enter the operating areas of machinery, do not walk outside pedestrian paths, and do not separate from the supervisor.

4.1.2 Equipment and Machine Safety

No machine or equipment may be touched. Do not approach electrical panels, moving machines, lifting and transport vehicles, and do not handle cutting or piercing tools.Hiçbir makine veya ekipmana dokunulmaz. 4.1.3 Area Safety

Do not enter restricted areas. Stay away from places where materials can fall from height, do not approach stacked materials, walk carefully on slippery surfaces, and hold onto handrails on stairs and platforms.

4.2 Specific Prohibition

4.2.1 Smoking and Open Flame

4.2.2 Photography and Video Recording

Unauthorized photography/video recording is prohibited. Areas containing trade secrets may not be recorded. If recording is required, prior permission must be obtained, and social media sharing is restricted.

4.2.3 Prohibited Items

Weapons and explosives are not allowed. Alcohol and drugs are prohibited. Cutting and piercing tools must be handed over to security, and flammable or combustible materials are forbidden.

 


5. EMERGENCY PROCEDURES

5.1 In Case of Fire

  1. Alarm: Do not panic when the fire alarm sounds
  2. Evacuation: Follow your supervisor to the nearest exit
  3. Assembly: Go to the Emergency Assembly Area (EAA)
  4. Wait: Follow the instructions of the evacuation team
  5. Roll Call: Do not leave the EAA until attendance is taken

5.2 In Case of Earthquake

  1. Protection: Follow the “Drop, Cover, Hold On” rule
  2. Shaking: Stay where you are until the shaking stops
  3. Evacuation: Evacuate after the shaking ends
  4. Caution: Watch out for broken glass and falling objects
  5. Assembly: Go to the designated open area

5.3 In Case of Accident

  1. Notification: Immediately inform your supervisor and security officer
  2. First Aid: Wait for intervention by trained personnel
  3. 112: Call emergency medical services if necessary
  4. Record: An accident report is prepared
  5. Follow-up: Monitor the condition of the injured person

5.4 Chemical Spill

  1. Move Away: Immediately leave the spill area
  2. Breathing: Try not to inhale
  3. Notification: Call the chemical emergency team
  4. Decontamination: Decontaminate if necessary
  5. Health: Receive a health check-up

 


6. SPECIAL CASES AND PERSONS

6.1 Visitors with Disabilities

Special access routes are used for visitors with disabilities, elevator priority is given, the supervisor receives special training, the emergency plan is customized, and the necessary auxiliary equipment is provided.

6.2 Inspectors

For inspectors, official identification is checked, inspection authority is verified, necessary documents are prepared, freedom of movement is granted, and the obligation of record-keeping is notified.


7. DATA SECURITY AND CONFIDENTIALITY

7.1 Protection of Trade Secrets

Production processes are kept confidential, technical information is not shared, customer information is protected, confidentiality agreements are signed, and in case of violation, legal action is initiated.

  2. Compliance: That you will strictly comply with all safety rules, instructions, and warnings during the visit
  3. Responsibility: That you are entirely responsible within the facility boundaries
  4. Risk Acceptance: That in case of non-compliance with OHS rules, you accept any accidents, injuries, death, environmental damage, or any other loss/damage that may occur
  5. Indemnity: That you will not hold Güneri Makina San. ve Tic. A.Ş., workplace owners, or employees responsible
  6. Waiver of Claims: That you will not make any claims for material or moral damages/losses
  7. Compensation Liability: That you will compensate for any damages caused to the facility, environment, or third parties due to non-compliance
  8. Legal Basis: That this declaration has legal validity under the OHS Law No. 6331, the Turkish Code of Obligations No. 6098, and the relevant legislation
  9. Irrevocability: That this undertaking is irrevocable
  10. Authority: That you are authorized to make this declaration and provide these undertakings on behalf of the institution you represent

9.2 Company Declaration
